Job Title-Sales Executive – HORECA Division

Reporting To – Sales Manager – HORECA
Job Purpose
The Sales Executive – HORECA is responsible for driving revenue growth and strengthening key accounts within hotels, resorts, catering companies, and institutional food service clients. This role demands hands-on experience with major hotel chains, deep product knowledge of fresh produce, and strong relationship management skills in a fast-paced, margin-sensitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive new business acquisition across hotels, resorts, catering companies, and large HORECA groups
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets (volume, value, and margin)
- Actively manage pricing, discounts, and promotions within approved guidelines
- Upsell and cross-sell value-added products (cut vegetables, ripened fruits, specialty imports, seasonal items)
- Key Account Management
- Manage key accounts with major hotel chains (e.g., 4-star, 5-star hotels, luxury resorts, hospitality groups)
- Maintain strong relationships with:
- Executive Chefs
- Purchasing Managers
- F&B Directors
- Cost Controllers
- Conduct regular kitchen visits, menu discussions, and demand planning with clients
- Customer Service & Retention
- Ensure high service levels in coordination with operations, logistics, and quality teams
- Proactively handle complaints related to quality, shortages, pricing, or delivery delays
- Retain accounts through consistent engagement, reliability, and problem-solving
- Act as the single point of contact for assigned HORECA clients
- Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track competitor pricing, product range, and market movements
- Share market feedback on demand trends, seasonality, and customer preferences
- Prepare and submit:
- Daily visit reports
- Weekly sales pipelines
- Monthly performance reviews
- Coordination & Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Procurement (forecasting demand)
- Operations & Logistics (delivery planning)
- Quality Control (customer-specific standards)
- Finance (credit limits, collections, overdue follow-ups)
- Support product launches and new customer onboarding
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of sales experience in HORECA
- Experience in fresh fruits & vegetables is an added
- Previous experience handling major chain hotels is mandatory
- Strong existing network within:
- Hotels
- Catering companies
- Institutional food service clients
- Valid UAE Driving License – Mandatory
- Currently based in the UAE with strong local market knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma / bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality, or related field
- Experience with:
- Fresh produce trading companies
- FMCG food distribution
- Cut vegetables / value-added fresh products
- Familiarity with ERP / CRM systems used in food trading
